Black Friday Bargains at the App Store
In true holiday spirit, many paid apps on the iTunes App Store are free this weekend starting on Friday. Everything from games (Lightning Tap) to TV guides (What’s on TV?) are on sale for at least Friday and many will be available for free through Monday.
While some of these apps are probably not that good and should always be free (or not even on the apps store in the first place!) there are sure to be some gems hidden amongst the crap. Besides, it costs nothing more than the time to download the app and if it’s garbage, you can just delete it — no money lost!
To find all the free apps, check the list over at App Shopper but be careful — some of the apps on their list that say they are free may not still be on sale. Double check the price on the iTunes App Store before you purchase — if it doesn’t say it’s free on the apps store then you will be charged!!
